Urgh, hell week from work + two weeks worth of belated hangover + scrambling to plan Halloween = FAIL ON LOGGING. I apologize to everyone I've talked about scenes with and not followed through. I do want to do them. :( On the plus side, I picked a zero hour costume (hint: Simon will be proud).
Aaaaaand my thoughts on
Johnny Justice, Jr [CAPTAIN JUSTICE, JR.] -> Anderson Asimov
Vera Matthews [NIGHTSHADE] -> Johnny Justice, Jr.
Johnny is waking up with a hard drive and a power core, and no Justice powers! Given that he doesn't think robots are 'people' or have souls, this is going to be a Big Issue. He's not really bright enough to explore the existential logistics of his connundrum, so there will be plenty of ERROR: DOES NOT COMPUTE. Also, when InvisiZoe pantses him the school will discover that Johnny does not, in fact, have any genitalia, thus confirming much suspicion and rumour. I think he's going to get very cold and logistical, but I'm not entirely certain how I want to play it yet. Open to suggestions.
Also, he will feel so dirty if and when he discovers that Vera had sex with his powers. It's worse than if it were in his bed. :/
Simon Liebowitz [THE PHANTOM REPORTER] -> Valentina Burke
Jacqueline Frost [COLD SNAP] -> Simon Leibowitz
Simon is going to be v. disappointed everyone woke up with shiny new superpowers but him, and presume he just got another Science shtick. He will complain about this at length, probably while eating a bloody steak. Steve will predict his wolfing out, and he will lose his shit. Figures he'd get werepowers during a full moon, so a scrawny, awkward wolfboy will be running around all night Monday. Anyone up for an encounter with the world's most faily werewolf? Anyone with slayer/hunter powers would be awesome.
Jackie gets the gift of Simon's link with his deceased grandfather, who can be a bit of an intrusive chatterbox.

Beatrix Bloxam [BLACK CAT] -> Yoshimi Kagemusha
Man, this really sucks for Yoshi. He's losing the only thing that makes him remotely cool. He's going to wake up without his spiritual self-possession or martial arts, and probably cut himself with his own sword. When he figures out what's going on he's going to hunt Bea down (using the sword, idk) and charge her with his Shadow Blade and his Mission to Keep Back the Night. He will go all Mr. Miyagi on her, in a very churlish sort of way.
He will also be incapable of saying no to people in need, and be compelled to be nice and do good deeds. I would love if people took significant advantage of this.
Nardo Drekmore [KNUCKLES] -> Charlie James
John Danger [JACK DANGER] -> Nardo Drekmore
Nardo is going to wake up with... thoughts. For the first time a man who's pure impulse will discover causality and reasoning, and it's going to blow his freaking mind. He's going to be so overwhelmed he'll be paralyzed, unable to act in even the smallest ways without considering every possible ramification of his action. Luckily InsaneSmartVinnie will be there to spur him into using his mechanical genius for widescale destruction. They'll probable be blowing something up. He will be continuing to speak in his usual parlance, unless someone points out he's smart enough for grammar now.
Ironically, he picked Jack as a combat partner for Monday's H2H test. He figured it'd be an easy win for his hungover ass. Talk about some turned tables...

Oh man, Ivan is going to be having a doodling field day. He's going to be summoning all sorts of Chthonian beasties forth to run amok across campus, all the horrible creatures he'd love to stitch together but doesn't have the spare parts for. I don't think he necessarily gets - or utilizes - Theodora's natural artistic skill, so his beastiary might be a bit rough around the edges. Also, he will be hard at work trying to figure out this Philosopher Stone/Elixir of Life shit, which makes the good Prof. Endischee so squirmy.
